Howdy everyone!
So, this week has been really fun! We are super busy
visiting as many people as possible, and are starting to see the work pick up
because of it! :D
As we've gone through Elder De Leon's first week and a half, we have experienced many things! Last Thursday, we went to visit our new high councilor for the East Sake. Bro. Pace is fantastic! Oh yeah, and we also got to meet the Olympian silver medalist for the skeleton, Noelle Pikus-Pace (his wife). It was really cool, and I even got to hold her silver medal! I didn't know how heavy it was till I held it, and I can tell you for a fact.. It's heavy!

Anyway, so we've been working with another investigator,
Brittni, for the past week, and last night, she was invited to be baptized on
the 17th of May. YAY! :D We also had a baptism on Saturday, of Jocelyn, the
local 9 year old. :D She's such a smart little girl! She and our district
leader tried to pull a prank on the rest of us after her interview. She tried
to come back in the room with a really sad face, and tell her mom that she
didn't pass. Suffice it to say, it didn't work. :D Then she was confirmed
yesterday, and it has been fantastic to see the progress of her family. When we
started working with them, they had been less-active, and wanted to come back
to church. Now, they are all active again, Dad was able to baptize Jocelyn - and
now they are working on a few other things. I just love how much difference the
gospel of Jesus Christ can make in other people's lives.
Last preparation day, we went hiking again to the top of the
ridge to the south of our house. I honestly think that the town (Eagle Mountain) looks like one
of those Christmas villages that we set up.. What do y'all think?
I love y'all!
-Elder Conrad Hamilton
Keep Smiling!
